March Break & Summer Robotics Camps
We proudly offer a variety of programs for students in the GTA, either on our own or in partnership with companies such as MK Mind Building (Ontario), FutureWorks (Asia) and Robots-4-U (USA).
After School Programs
We offer a variety of after school programs for schools in the GTA.
Robotics kits that educate.
We spent a lot of energy finding the right robotics kits that are not only fun to use but help kids become familiar with industry tools and components. With the help of our professional teachers, students learn to use screwdrivers, nuts, bolts, screws and more.
By using these tools at an early age, kids drastically improve and develop their motor skills. For the optimum experience, each student gets their own robotic kit to use during the program. That means everyone gets to experience the joy of assembling their robot without waiting for partners or shared tools.
Meet the instructors.
All our lead instructors are graduates from teacher’s college at reputable universities with a Bachelors of Education. They all have extensive experience running programs for children.
What are the qualifications of OYMBC instructors?
All our lead instructors are graduates from teacher’s college at reputable universities with a Bachelors of Education. They all have extensive experience running programs for children and youths. Some are Ontario Certified Teachers. They possess up-to-date CPR/First Aid training. In addition, they are highly trained and competent in the technology that we employ. On a personal level, they are fun loving, warm and attentive. They even enjoy building their own robots and compete with and against the students!
Each staff member has passed criminal background checks, reference checks and identification checks.
Why are instructors needed?
OYMBC instructors are the backbone of the entire program. Instead of just giving kids a manual, instructors are interactive, and ensure that students understand the reasons behind various construction methods.
Aside from the teaching qualities of our instructors, they also serve as motivators and resources for the students.
Supervision & Safety
All student activities and movements are supervised by a staff member. Parents are required to sign in and out for each day. If a different person is picking the student up, the parent or guardian must notify the lead instructor that day.
